Roselli

Roselli knives are made in Harmoinen, Finland at the workshop founded by blade-smith Heimo Roselli. A self-taught smith, Heimo started forging in 1974 and since 1976 he has been making knives full time. Roselli makes simple, unique and great looking knives using carbon steel blades, birch handles and leather sheaths.

Beautiful knife. Very elegant and practical

10/10 it’s really a spot on knife. Makes me want to get a hunter version of this. The wood sheath really makes this special and I love the wood selection they use. Curly birch it’s simple, rugged, and looks great. I thought the fact the sheath was wood might make this a bit funny to carry but it’s actually very comfortable, doesn’t get in the way, and quite practical as I’ve found. Nice quality carbon steel, and a very deep grind makes the knife feel like it’s serrated yet crazy sharp, it’s quite dangerous if you try to rub your finger across the blade to test sharpness. Scandi grind makes it very easy to sharpen although I only use a strop and it’s still razor sharp. That’s why carbon steel is the best blade steel

Knife is well constructed, sharp and has a good grip with a subtle finger guard. Sheath is nicely made, with the reindeer fur a nice accent.

Gute kurze Klinge . Der Griff ist etwas kürzer als der von dem Roselli Hunter ( leider ... ) aber passt auch gut in der Hand . Gute Ergänzung zu dem Roselli Hunter für präzisere Arbeit . Die Holzscheide in dieser Variante des Grandfather Knife ist ein Auswahl . Es muß nicht unbedingt sein , ist aber Geschmacksache . Man kann sich zusätzlich bei Lamnia eine normale Lederscheide extra bestellen . Alles in allem ein gutes Messer für‘s Basteln . Preis-Leistung ist etwas schwieriger zu urteilen da es davon abhängt wie oft und wofür man das Messer benützen wird . Im Vergleich zu anderen Produkten sind die Roselli Messer gut verarbeitet und stabil . In dieser Hinsicht ist der Preis OK .
