Hultafors Dvardala Hunting & Forest Axe 0,7 841780
The Dvardala axe is ideal for hunting and forest activities, combining features from various axe types for versatile use in the wilderness. It has a head similar to the Hultafors Åby axe but a shorter handle of 440 mm (17 inches), making it portable and suitable for close-up work. The axe excels in precision tasks like carving, shelter building, and campsite maintenance, thanks to its well-proportioned hand notch and semi-straight edge with a flat grind. It also handles light forestry work and wood splitting effectively. Hand-forged in Hults Bruk since 1697, the axe head weighs 0.7 kg and is made from Swedish CO2-neutral steel with a polished, razor-sharp Scandinavian grind. The handle is curved and narrow with a pronounced end knob for a secure grip. The Swedish-made sheath is crafted from vegetable-tanned full-grain leather, ensuring durability and a beautiful patina over time. Named after the forest area Dvardala, the axe carries a lifetime warranty on the head, reflecting Hults Bruk's pride in their craftsmanship and quality.
