Roselli knives are made in Harmoinen, Finland at the workshop founded by blade-smith Heimo Roselli. A self-taught smith, Heimo started forging in 1974 and since 1976 he has been making knives full time. Roselli makes simple, unique and great looking knives using carbon steel blades, birch handles and leather sheaths.
The Roselli UHC S Hunting knife model is slightly shorter and lighter than the original UHC Hunting knife. This "lux" model of UHC Hunting knife also features silver bolster and tail-cap. Its handle is made from grainy wood (curly birch) instead of plain birch.
Hunting knife is a popular choice among hunters and campers and it can be used for whittling, cutting or handling fish or game. The heat treated birch handle with a linseed oil coating ensures a firm grip, even when it’s wet. Hunting knife comes with a handcrafted sheath made from tanned leather.
UHC (Ultra High Carbon) steel is developed by Heimo Roselli’s own method through years of research and experiments. UHC steel gives the edge extra hardness and sharpness.
All Roselli’s knives are handmade and come with natural birch wood handles that vary in tone and grain.
