Popular ax models from the history of Hults Bruk have been selected as the model for this Anniversary ax.
In 1870, as a potter, Ekelund made a trip to America. He brought with him not only new production techniques, but also the idea of a hickory handle and the Montreal and Yankee ax models.
Over time, these became the most popular and long-lasting Hultafors ax models. The blade part of our anniversary ax, which weighs 600 grams, is based on the classic Yankee design and is precision ground.
The ax is hand-forged from Swedish quality steel, like all Hults Bruk axes.
Handle and blade guard
The ax is equipped with a traditional hickory handle that has been treated with linseed oil.
The blade guard is made of responsibly produced, full-surface leather in Sweden, which has been tanned.
Supplied with a key chain, which is decorated with a ship nail reminiscent of Hults Bruk's initial battle.
