Microtech Knives was founded in 1994 in Vero Beach, Florida, by Anthony and Susan Marfione with a clear goal: to produce the best knives possible. The company mainly focuses on tactical folding knives and sturdy full tang knives suitable for both tactical use and survival. Microtech strongly emphasizes locality, using only American materials—most of which they manufacture themselves—and operates as a significant local employer in North Carolina, where the company is currently based. Their quality control is built on rigorous research, development, and testing. Microtech sets high standards and strives for perfection, refusing to compromise.
