Roselli

Roselli knives are made in Harmoinen, Finland at the workshop founded by blade-smith Heimo Roselli. A self-taught smith, Heimo started forging in 1974 and since 1976 he has been making knives full time. Roselli makes simple, unique and great looking knives using carbon steel blades, birch handles and leather sheaths.

This is a gem! Full stop! This is perfection with a flair! The blade is a dream (sharp and, as far as materials go, made from the excellent and iconic Roselli wootz steel). The handle is quite comfortable. and the fit and finish otherworldly. A minor con: for a knife like this, Roselli should provide a special box included in the price; something, for example, like the box that Martiinni special (but much less expensive) knifes come in.

Andai da Roselli nel 1991 e rimasi stupito dalla qualità del suo lavoro,la scelta all'epoca era molto limitata e il suo damasco bello ma carissimo. Ho diversi suoi coltelli tradizionali di quel tempo ma non smetterò mai di ammirarlo per cui ogni tanto acquisto le novita:il wootz e veramente ottimo e il taglio super,bravo.

Нож хороший, непонятно только происхождение отверстий на ножных… и лезвие относительно ручки в лево наклонено, может так задумано, но раньше такого не видел.
