This knife is a perfect combination of tradition in concept and modernity in design and construction. Very well balanced, with a perfect size for small adventures and camping. One of my favourites.

An interesting knife loosely following Horace Kephart’s traditional desin. The high quality leather sheath offers very good retention, you could carry the knife uside down and it wouldn’t fall out. The blade is more flexible than most of Esee’s blades, which makes it a good slicer. The structured micarta scales offer a much better grip than I had expected. They are, however, very thin: pushing down hard while whittling or feather sticking becomes quite painful with time. A surprising weakness in the knife’s design. A nice addition to a collection, but certainly not a good choice for an only knife.

Нож отличного качества. Заводская заточка радует. Не ХО. Да, ручка, может, и тонковата, но и толщина клинка невелика, что позволяет снизить вес. «Тактическим ломом» не является, но таковым и не позиционируется. Хотя выживать с ним ещё как можно, при желании. Плюсом является наличие нижнего упора на рукояти. Единственным недостатком в практичности стали классические ножны (из высококачественной кожи, кстати), поскольку повесить можно только на пояс и только вертикально. Зато будет очень стильно, если надеть шляпу и бродить по ранчо.

Нож очень удобен. Казалось бы рукоять должна быть не удобна, но это не так. Хорошо режет, вытекает искру, батонит. Единственный минус, в заводской заточке, но его легко устранить

Отличный нож для леса, выездов на природу, походов. Учитывая толщину лезвия и более высокие спуски, хорошо работает по продуктам. Рукоять слегка тонковата, но это не напрягает, достаточно цепкая. Очень нравится оригинальное покрытие клинка, плюс острый обух. В общем прекрасный нож от уважаемой американской компании! P.S. А ещё он необычен и уникален. Всегда обратите внимание на себя и свой нож!

Perfekt bladform och skärpa. Rät överdel, bra för elddon. Välsydd läderslida som jag skall göra om till "mera" dangler. Greppet behagligt trots sitt aningen udda utseende.Möjligen kan ett par extra liners göra greppet tjockare för att passa mina händer ännu bättre. ESSE / ROWEN har skapat en god och pålitlig kniv med läckert bearbetad design. Prisvärt köp. Ingemar
