The Spyderco P’kal is a folding knife inspired by a specific Filipino blade technique, familiar from the region’s martial arts. Designed in collaboration between industry expert Craig “Southnarch” Douglas and Spyderco, the P’kal is far more than a martial arts knife. It excels as a versatile home utility knife for tasks like gardening or light renovations. The Hawkbill-style blade is ideal for cutting tasks such as trimming vinyl flooring, with a pulling cut being the most effective technique.

The blade is crafted from high-quality CPM S30V powdered steel. Highly corrosion-resistant, it is easy to maintain while offering exceptional performance. The hard steel bites into materials efficiently and retains its edge for a long time. Many consider CPM S30V one of the world’s best steels for EDC knives. The full-flat grind further enhances cutting performance.

True to Spyderco style, the blade features a Round Hole at the base, enabling fast and smooth one-handed opening. It also includes a removable Emerson opener, making deployment quick and effortless.

The frame is made from stainless steel, and the patented Ball Bearing Lock ensures secure blade locking. Handle scales are made from impact-resistant G10 composite, providing a comfortable grip even in wet conditions.

A pocket clip is included for convenient carry.
