Spyderco was founded in 1978 in Golden, Colorado. First introduced in 1990, the original Spyderco Endura helped pave the way for the modern lightweight folding knife. Ever since, it has remained one of Spyderco's most popular and enduring models. While staying true to its original concept, the fourth-generation Endura has been refined to deliver even greater performance, durability, and user-friendliness. Signature Spyderco features include the Trademark Round Hole for effortless one-handed opening and a four-position pocket clip for versatile carry options.
Built around a sturdy stainless steel frame, the Endura 4 employs Spyderco's reliable Back Lock mechanism. The lightweight, impact-resistant handle scales are molded from fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN), providing excellent durability with minimal weight.
The SpyderEdge saber-ground blade is crafted from Japanese VG-10 stainless steel. Its aggressive serrations excel at cutting rope, webbing, cardboard, and other tough fibrous materials, while VG-10 offers an excellent balance of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance.
Weighing just 103 g and measuring just under 13 cm (5.0") when closed, the Endura 4 remains an outstanding everyday carry knife.
