Sharp out of the box. Thin blade stock, so very lightweight; easy to open, get the job done and fold back up with minimal effort. Build quality and fit and finish is excellent. Blade is a little short compared to the handle, but done to meet certain regulations and does mean enough room on the handle to grip comfortably. Grip texture would be better if it was more like the Seki City Spyderco models; it is a little smooth, and I'd be careful with it in wet or slippy conditions. Edge retention phenomenal so far, has just needed a strop... A fixed blade or locking knife is still always going to be safer to use for heavier jobs, but as a folding general utility pocket knife, it's more than up to the task. I do wish it had a lanyard hole though. Pocket clip is reversible for lefties like me

Spyderco little expensive but nice design

One of the best designed pocket pocket knives. Ergos are spot on, the blade is ideal for a variety of typical tasks (opening letters, breaking down boxes, sharpening pencils, etc). It’s shaving sharp out of the box and the steel is amazing. A bit hard to sharpen but that’s a consequence of good edge retention. Unlike most slip joints this feels very safe. The half stop is positive, and if you choke up on the blade it literally cannot close on your finger. Brilliant design!

Problemloser Kauf, hervorragendes Messer!

Kleines sehr scharfes Taschenmesser. Es ist für den täglichen Gebrauch sehr gut geeignet.

Dieses kleine Messerchen ist sofort aus meiner Sammlung in die Tasche gewandert und ist seit dem ständig mein Begleiter. Man muss immer mal in die Tasche greifen obs noch da ist. Leicht ,super Handschmeichler und voll der Schneidteufel. Kann es nur empfehlen. Mein bester und liebster Begleiter im Moment
