New for 2026, the Spyderco Para Military 2 Lightweight Salt combines the proven design of the Para Military 2 with reduced weight and exceptional corrosion resistance. Its injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced nylon handle makes the knife more than 25% lighter than the classic G-10 version, while Spyderco’s Bi-Directional Texture™ provides a secure grip. The bright yellow handle also makes the knife easier to spot around water and in demanding outdoor environments.
The full-flat-ground CPM MagnaCut blade delivers an outstanding balance of edge retention, toughness and corrosion resistance. Together with the streamlined Compression Lock® mechanism, it makes this Salt Series model a dependable choice for everyday carry, boating, fishing and use in wet or humid conditions.
A generously sized lanyard hole and reversible deep-pocket wire clip provide versatile carrying options. The clip can be configured for left- or right-handed tip-up carry.
