Spyderco’s Para Military 2 is hands down one of the most popular, recognizable, and carried knives in the cutlery industry. Now this iconic design is available in a lightweight format that trims the knife’s overall weight by more than 25 percent and adds enhanced grip security.
The secrets to its remarkable design start with injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle scales. Lighter than G-10, they feature our signature Bi-Directional Texture pattern for a high-traction, non-slip grip. They also house a streamlined Compression Lock mechanism that further reduces the knife’s weight while locking the blade securely open during use.
The business end of the knife showcases a full-flat-ground CTS BD1N stainless steel blade, which is available in both PlainEdge and fully serrated SpyderEdge formats. To ensure discreet, convenient carry while keeping the knife poised for instant access, the Para Military 2 Lightweight includes a deep-pocket wire clip that is reversible for left- or right-side tip-up carry.
