Spyderco was founded in 1978 in Golden, Colorado. They have been collaborating with many custom knifemakers, athletes, and self-defence instructors around the world. Spyderco has pioneered the use of 20 different blade materials, including CPM-SV60V, CPM-S90V, H-1 and others. Brad Southard’s new Positron takes the proven performance and dramatic styling of his best-selling flipper folder designs and distills them into a compact, pocket-friendly folder optimized for everyday carry. Although it proudly bears Spyderco’s Trademark Round Hole, its full-flat-ground CPM®S30V® blade offers flipper-only one-handed operation. Its solid carbon fiber handle scales are contoured for comfort and house the nested, skeletonized stainless steel liners that are the heart of its sturdy LinerLock mechanism. Ball bearing washers guarantee an ultra-smooth opening action, while a reversible deep-pocket wire clip provides ambidextrous tip-up carry.
