Spyderco Stretch 2 folding knife

The knives of Spyderco's Stretch family could even be described as somewhat underrated.

Originally introduced under the name Hunter, the folding knife was designed primarily for hunting and game processing. As development progressed, not only did the name change, but so did its intended purpose. Reborn as the Stretch, it evolved into a versatile everyday carry (EDC) knife equally suited for outdoor adventures and daily use.

Launched in 2015, the second-generation Stretch 2 was far more than a simple name update. It introduced significant improvements to handling, ergonomics, and user safety.

While the Stretch may not be as well known or as iconic as Spyderco classics such as the Para Military or Endura, dedicated Spyderco enthusiasts often regard it as one of the company's finest all-purpose folding knives.
