Everything except upper bevel was razor sharp upon ariving. However that's not the reason why I gave it 4 stars. It's tang is even a bit thicker than the tang on full size USMC version, which is a plus. Handle is comfortable, everything is tight, the blade is tough as I used it hard already. It's also easy to resharpen (except that tip where I need to reprofile the bevel angle). But, the grind at the tip is very asymmetrical, and for that reason I give it 4/5.
