Heritage Knives Officers chirra 8” kukri knife
A beautiful & lethal 8 inch blade Officers style Kukri, reproduction based on the original antique from a bygone time of the British Empire in India. A time when bravery was in actions and war was face to face.
The blade is made with new 5160 high carbon steel and has been given an optimum heat treat following a strict protocol of knife making based on traditional Nepalese & modern western techniques & methods. Heritage Knives does not use Kettle quench nor recycled steel and among some reasons why our blades are stronger and of a superior quality.
This is a Kukri both for use and show, its beautiful to look at and just as lethal in use. The fullers on the belly makes the Kukri lighter and faster then a non fullered blade. A easy to carry Kukri which is not very large nor very small but has the best properties of a Kukri knife while maintaining its original design and purpose. A functional Kukri made for both use and to appreciate its beauty.
