G.Sakai was established in 1958 under the name”Sakai Hamono” as a Japanese knife manufacture. Sakai Hamono was greatly inspired by Gerber Legendary Blades and succeeded in cooperation with the american company in 1977. After changing the name to G. Sakai, the company has continued expanding the life of the original products under brand name. G.Sakai produces high fixed blade knives, folders and kitchen knives.
The knife was primarily developed for outdoor sports such as hunting and camping. The popularity of this folder is long & steady among the outdoor-life-oriented people.
