Böker Plus Federal folding knife 01BO140
The Brazilian knife maker Gustavo Cecchini doesn't only design modern folding knives; he designs futuristic ones, and is never at a loss for new ideas. The Federal Folder has a unique clip design for which the clip automatically retracts into the handle when not in use. The idea itself is not new, but the execution is unique: instead of a delicate mechanism, the clip is integrated into the titanium casing, much like a frame lock. To clip the knife, just press your thumb and spread the spring force away from the casing. A solution that is unsurpassed in its simplicity and elegance. And the rest of the fittings make you want more: the titanium body with its expressive milling bears two carbon fiber inlays, which strikingly underline the modern design. Locks with a frame lock. The blade is opened with a flipper, and milling in the area of the thumb ramp gives extra grip.
