Started from a small hardware factory of the Böker family in Germany in the 17th century, Böker became famous in 1869 when they launched their tree-brand knives developed in cooperation with the well-known cutlery-expert Hermann Heuser. The history of Böker has been affected by eventful times, but two things remained: passion and enthusiasm for extraordinary knives. Böker was one of the first companies to offer ceramic knives as a featured product line.
Damascus meets Bonsai! Just like the famous Japanese miniature trees that grow into small works of art after years of elaborate and meticulous care, our mini Damascus is a strongly reduced, but yet entirely original and artful miniature version of a Damascus pocket knife. Blade and tang are entirely made of stainless Damascus steel, so the term "jewel" can be taken literally. The folder with a thickness of 5.6 mm, it can even be carried as a necklace. Handmade in the Böker Knife Manufactory in Solingen.
