Started from a small hardware factory of the Böker family in Germany in the 17th century, Böker became famous in 1869 when they launched their tree-brand knives developed in cooperation with the well-known cutlery-expert Hermann Heuser. The history of Böker has been affected by eventful times, but two things remained: passion and enthusiasm for extraordinary knives. Böker was one of the first companies to offer ceramic knives as a featured product line.
As a knife manufacturer with more than 150 years of history, we are now for the first time applying our expertise and experience to the development of our own series of abrasives for the discerning user. The carefully selected range includes classic, but of course innovative bench sharpening stones, pocket sharpening rods and sharpeners, as well as sharpening pucks and accessories for every application scenario, whether it is for use on the kitchen table at home, in the workshop or on the road on a backpacking trip. In the case of technical ceramics, corundum and diamond, only the best materials of the highest purity, homogeneity and quality have been used in each case. Even the best and most expensive bench grindstone is of no use without a stable and level working surface as well as a non-slip support that connects the stone securely to the surface. The infinitely adjustable whetstone holder with rustproof screw threads and non-slip, moisture-resistant and durable supports made of rubber-like silica gel is ideal for this purpose. Universally applicable for grinding stones and diamond plates from 60 to 217 mm.
