Excellent steel on this knife: great edge retention and hardness, yet it's easy to sharpen. Also very nice geometry for efficient cutting. Good-sized handle for larger hands too, and the G10 panels should be able to withstand pretty hard use. There are some clear negatives too, though: out of the box, the knife's edge had a portion of about an inch long that was too dull to even cut paper. The sheath feels cheap and flimsy, but it still holds the knife quite well. Would expect more in this price range from the sheath. The last negative is the Cerakote coating - it wears off quite easily in hard use. DLC or similar would be a superior choice over the current coating.
