A good and robust knife with a few minor issues. Firstly, for the price, quality was not what was to be expected. The handle scales were not flush nor 100% even. Had to spend some time sanding down the curly birch scales so they were smooth an flush with the tang. Likewise, the brass pins were slightly recessed, so sanding down the sides was also required. Grind angle of the tip is also different of that of the cutting edge, but not really an issue (makes the tip a bit tougher until you need to regrind the blade to the cutting angle). Leather sheath is very nicely made, but has not very good retention and the belt loop is quite small, max. 2 inch wide belt. For these points, minus 2 stars. Apart from that, the knife is very tough. Used it on a week long survival course, batoning wood, making feathersticks, carving and other "hard" duty tasks. It remained really sharp, however with just a 5 min touch up with a Arkansas stone, was back to splitting hairs. Very decent knife also for carving, but dont expect too much on food prep chores....after all it is a scandi grind. To summarize, quite a decent and tough knife however with the quality issues that were encountered it should be, IMHO, around the 100 Euro mark, especially when you compare it with its competitors.
