Description

Korpisoturi (eng. Wilderness Warrior) is the premiere knife of a new finnish knife manufacturer Rokka Knives. Made in Kauhava, Finland, honoring the best traditions of finnish knife making. Great companion for any kind of bushcraft and outdoor tasks. Also designed for tactical use and already accepted by many military users.

Extremely sharp, high ground Böhler 80CrV2 carbon steel blade. Rhombic cross-section and no secondary bevel. Induction hardened cutting edge at HRC 63.

TPE Dryflex composite handle offers solid grip with hardness at 80 Shore A. Injection molded Kareline® natural fibre composite sheath that can withstand temperatures from -30°C to +100°C. The sheath has modular, ambidextrous construction and is dishwasher safe.

Comes with a BladeTech malice clip and attachment screws.

The goal of Rokka Knives was to create a knife that remains true to the defining characteristics of the original Puukko. Korpisoturi offers qualities commonly associated with custom made Finnish Puukkos; radical rhombic cross-section blade geometry, extremely hard selective heat treatment of the cutting edge and spring tempered spine.

Like the original, handmade Puukkos, Korpisoturi's blade is made of almost pure carbon steel, the Böhler 80CrV2. The edge is hardened at 63 HRC. The "magic" is in the combination of a hard edge and aggressive blade geometry without secondary bevel. As a result, we get extreme cutting performance.

Korpisoturi's handle design and choice of material reflects modern preferences giving the user uncompromised comfort and security. The fingerguard also serves as a locking device that secures the knife inside the sheath. Instead of a wet formed leather sheath Rokka opted for a Kareline natural fibre composite. This material does not absorb moisture, is machine washable and withstands temperature range from -30 to +100 degrees celcius.

Rokka Knives Korpisoturi brings you as close as possible to the unique experience of using a puukko made by a puukkoseppä (bladesmith). Proudly Made in Finland.

This is by far the best bushcraft knife I've ever owned. It is stupid sharp very tough & slices through both dry wood & green wood like butter. The sheath could of been better designed in my opinion it raises too high on the belt & the friction on the handle from drawing it in & out from the sheath eventually will mark the handle but does a great job on retaining the knife. Is it worth £108 price tag? Absoloutly you won't find a better small knife for bushcraft especially with a HRC rating of 63. The edge retention is awesome I've smashed the hell out of this knife & Not so much as a chip or roll. The steel is awesome very very happy. & as usual Top service from Lamnia there is no better knife shop in my opinion super fast delivery.

Best knife I ever owned - in black. First of all, this is the Korpisoturi for my daughter, who was convinced by my Korpisoturi in Coyote. For me this knife represents the best possible for Bushcrafting and Outdoors, if it was stainless it would be divine - so to stay non-eternal they used this stell which is in any other manner perfect for this. The Korpisoturi has a handle that sticks it to the hand and you can use it as it was a part of your hand, the shape of the blade is perfect for batoning, anything regarding woodcraft and on the other hand, the rhombic shape of the blade isn't bad for food preparing, even if the thickness of 5mm says something different... I am selling any other knife, even if they are more expensive, more good-looking or whatever - if you want to use it: this is it!

TGerän jämäkkyys ja laatu pituuksineen, teroitustyylinen ovat erinomaisia Kahvan materiaali erittäin hyvä, ei luista hikisessäkään kädessä ja vuolusuoja on estämään onnettomuuksia Ainut miinus on kahvan ohuus, mikäli on ison käden omistaja (hanskan nro 12) Tällöin kahvan ohuus haittaa pidon voimakkuutta Tuppi on hyvä

From hunting to camping, I'm happy with the HRC63 with a really stiff blade compared to multiple knives. The ease of grip is also No.1. Simple and uncluttered. If there is any dissatisfaction, it is that the metal of the grip end is easy to rust, and the durability of the resin sheath and belt clip is unknown. But it has a good grip and is fun to use. I think I will use it for a long time.
