Good bang for the buck, two of the three blades stand a bit low when open, otherwise very good fit and finish. I like the shape of both the blades and the handle very much. Wish there were more old-guy-knives like that on the (European) market.

While the Stockman knife is all over the place its predecessor the Cattle Knife is a bit of a rare beast. The "Whittler" in the name is a misnomer here indeed. The classic Stockman comes in a serpentine or sowbelly shape but the cattle knife is most always an equal end jackknife. SMKW who owns the Marbles brand (like Rough Rider) definitely knows what patterns we want! Quality is as expected from a RR or Marbles knife: Great transitions and not much gaping to talk about. Centering is bit off here but what do you expect from a three bladed knife? The bone-stag is awesome like on RR knives. Pull is a bit on the weak side though, I would say a four on the mainblade. All in all you get a lot on knife for your money, even in Euros and a nearly extinct pattern is back from the dead too!

Bra blad, men fjädrarna är helt feljusterade. Bladen glappar kraftigt i öppet läge.
