Marbles is a famous old 'everyman' brand from the USA. It now goes some way towards keeping the apalling quality of knives from Pakistan affordable. The balanceof this knife is clumsy, and grind lines, fit and finish, and symmetry are not so good. The edge is more akin to a machete than a knife. The steel could be anything. The knife is probably serviceable enough but not good value for money. In future, I will consider any blade made in Pakistan to be junk, regardless of the pretty photos
