Started from a small hardware factory of the Böker family in Germany in the 17th century, Böker became famous in 1869 when they launched their tree-brand knives developed in cooperation with the well-known cutlery-expert Hermann Heuser. The history of Böker has been affected by eventful times, but two things remained: passion and enthusiasm for extraordinary knives. Böker was one of the first companies to offer ceramic knives as a featured product line.
This particular Special Run Edition of the Boker Model 10, by Les Voorhies from Minnesota, is equipped with extraordinary bolsters made of Damascus-like Mokuti, which is manufactured from two different titanium alloys. The light-coloured handle scales are made of ivory-like Elforyn, the titanium plates underneath are elaborately bronze coloured. The ball bearing blade is made of powder metallurgical CPM-154, opened comfortably with a thumb stud and reliably secured by a stable linerlock. Limited to only 20 pieces worldwide. Handmade in the Boker Knife Manufactory Solingen.
