Laxström Ice Saw, wood handle
Laxström's Jääsaha ice saw is an unparalleled tool for trap fishers. The sturdy ice saw with a powerful bite makes enlarging an ice hole quick and easy. It has plenty of reach, so a hole large enough for an ice jigger or a fish trap, for example, can be made without complications even in times of thicker ice.
The blade part of the ice saw is made out of galvanized special steel. This makes the blade flexible, able to endure bending and efficiently resistant to corrosion. The saw has a sharp tip that can act as an ice pick when needed. The blade is locked with a wing nut. The wooden handle part of the ice saw allows for a firm grip and will not feel cold in the most freezing weather. When closed, the saw can be folded into a small space and carried with ease.
