Carinthia Tropen sleeping bag, olive drab

The Carinthia Tropen is a lightweight summer sleeping bag developed for hot and humid environments. It is an excellent choice for backpacking, travel, professional and military use, as well as expeditions in tropical regions where ventilation, compact packing and insect protection are essential.

Its minimalist single-layer construction keeps weight and pack volume under control. G-LOFT® synthetic insulation provides the thermal protection needed during cooler nights and remains practical in damp conditions. Differential Cut construction allows the insulation to retain its loft and helps minimize cold spots.

Thermoflect technology reflects part of the body's radiant heat back toward the sleeper, improving thermal efficiency without adding significant weight or bulk.

One of the Tropen's defining features is its integrated mosquito net. It protects the head and face from insects without requiring a separate net. High vapor permeability further improves comfort during hot and humid nights.

A two-way zipper allows flexible ventilation and easy entry or exit. The Anti-Snag band helps prevent fabric from catching in the zipper, improving reliability during regular field use.
