This is a great knife. I like the overall design in terms of blade shape and handle shape. It's well balanced and the handle is also comfortable with a variety of grips. The finish is pretty good - not as good as other knives I have, but they cost twice as much. And the sheath is great too. It holds the knife securely, has blue stitching to match the lining of the knife and has an included dangler which is removable. Highly recommended.

The knife and the sheath are well made with good quality control on the fit and finish. The model that I have is of Böhler N690Co steel (flat grind with secondary v-edge) and black G-10 handle scales with nice blue liners - high quality materials at affordable price. First, to note is the design of the knife: a Kephart-style, with some basic lines from highly acknowledged American knife makers - LT Wright and Bark River. Actually, the knife is very similar to the LT Wright Bushcrafter, but scaled up in length and the lateral sides of the handle are contoured like at Bark River's Bravo and Aurora (the "coca-bottle" shape). So, as could be expected, the handle is very comfortable and versatile: stays neutral at different holdings (for bushcrafting), have the extra grip due to its contouring (for food processing) and no hot spots. However, the hand feeling is not like at the more budget knifes above and I think that this is, mainly, because the handle is thinner. Into a real use, the knife feels well balanced and performs excellent all the variety of tasks around the camp. The blade length is just right to feel confident at wood- and food-processing. The spine thickness is enough to make kindling’s easy and the flat grind allows a normal food slicing (i.e. it does not split the food). The edge holding is noticeably long, it toughness is quite good (no chips appeared even at hard use), but requires more effort to sharpen. The G-10 is sturdy and reliable handle material which does not absorb food ingredients and smells. (The wood scales would add an aesthetic and reduce some of the weight, but needs regular care.) In conclusion, this is a fully functional and practical all-around camp knife that can be used for a long time without bothering you. So, I recommend it, especially at that price. Thanks Lamnia for this product.
