Lähes kaikin puolin asiallinen veitsi, sopii käteen, ei ole liian iso, väistin istuu tiiviisti terän ympärillä, tuppi on kätevä ja ennen kaikkea varma, yms Mutta teroitus on tehtaan jäljiltä ala-arvoinen. Se tuntu kyllä terävältä, enkä siksi sille tehnyt aluksi mitään. Mutta pari vetoa hirveä nylkiessä niin terä muuttui voiveitseksi, onneksi oli varaveitsi mukana. Teroittaminen oli melkoinen urakka koska kulmat eivät olleet likimainkaan sellaiset kuin pitäisi, tai edes symmetriset. Nyt terä on kuitenkin erittäin terävä ja kulmat niinkuin pitääkin. Toivottavasti metsästyskäyttöönkin oivallisesti muotoiltu terä pääsee vielä tositoimiin tämän syksyn aikana. Kaiken kaikkiaan kuitenkin hieno veitsi kaikin puolin, kunhan teroituksen saa kuntoon. Näin veitsiharrastajan näkökulmasta tuo tehdasteroitus ei välttämättä ole edes ihan oikea puute, pääseepähän itse teroittamaan ja näkee kättensä jäljen.
