Chris Reeve Knives started in 1984 from a single garage attached to a house where Chris was living. The former motorcycle racer channeled his enthusiasm into knifemaking. He worked extremely hard by himself to put as much as possible into every one of his knives and run an independent business. He designed every model with a deliberate approach, taking into account how the knife works and the intended purpose of the knife. Chris Reeve Knives received the ”Manufacturing Quality Award” for twelve consecutive years, from 2001 to 2012, following it up with multiple products receiving ”Knife of the Year” awards.
Made from stabilized wood and profiled to fit precisely inside handle pockets, the Sebenza 21 with Spalted Beech blends utilitarian needs with clean lines and hand polished finishes. Spalted Beech occurs from a loss of pigmentation, resulting in variations of warm browns and creams, and marbled black or brown lines. Wood Inlays are made from natural materials, so you can expect a variation in color and wood grain.
