This high-rise shoe with a membrane keeps your feet dry and your ankles safe. Along with its popularity among hikers, this model is also favored by hunters. The shoe has a wide last, but by adjusting the lacing, the shoe will provide a nice fit for narrower feet as well.

The outside of the shoe is made from thick greased leather and the upper part has nubuck leather on it. The rubber reinforcement of the tip protects you from impacts in rocky terrain. The Achilles absorber in the back of the shoe lessens the strain for the feet, and the minimal amount of seams prevents chafing. Instead of a traditional glue attachment, the sole has been molded. This solution gives the foot enough room and makes the seam flexible. It also significantly increases the mileage of both the sole and the entire shoe. The material of the sole is Alpina's own rubber mix, offering a great grip in any weather, and will not harden in the most freezing temperatures.

The Sympatex membrane holds water away without sacrificing the breathability of the shoe. The lacing of the lower part of the shoe has been implemented so that once the suitable setting has been found, the boot can be laced using just the lacing of the shaft. This makes the shoes fast to put on and take off.
