Fantoni
Fantoni has produced quality hunting, tactical and folding knives since 1980. They use different traditional and modern technologies for processing stainless steel and making heat or surface treatments. Fantoni was certainly the first Italian company in the industry to cooperate with knife designers, starting with Moris Baroni, R.W.Loveless, William W. Harsey, Tommaso Rumici and finally, Chris Reeve.
The name of the knife refers to
its mixed style, incorporating the
best characteristics of prior knife
designs produced by Fantoni
SRL. The result of such mix is a
knife that is not only tough and
sharp, but also comfortable and
practical for all tasks. The back
locking system incorporates a
useful innovation. The spring that
rotates the locking lever is not
set in the rear spacer but in the
side plates themselves. Incorpor-
rating this innovative engineering
solution in the design of the MIX,
when compared to a conven-
tional lock back has resulted in
a lighter knife with a longer and
more proportional blade.
