Svörd

Svörd is a New Zealand knife manufacturer founded by Bryan Baker. Bryan's knife making was strongly influenced by an elderly Czechoslovakian master, from whom he learned the unique hardening and tempering process. The combination of quality Swedish cutlery steel and Baker's process for heat treatment and tempering produces a truly superb blade.

It’s big, it’s ugly, it’s beautiful... literally the best thing you can purchase, feels great to hold and has great craftsmanship... the only downfall is the sheath, just doesn’t have that same feel as the knife.

BBK - Big beautiful knife, it feels great in the hand, nothing rattles about, great sharpness in the blade, the material all looks heavy duty and made to last, the only reason a 4 is even though the sheath is nice thick leather and I am sure it will last it came slightly damaged and just doesn’t have that “quality” feel to it or the ruggedness, I would have expected slightly more... but the blade itself is worth it... it’s a big ugly beautiful knife... it’s the Elephant Seal of knives. Lamnia.com have been great, great customer service and delivery service... no issues

Wie alle Svord Produkte eine Empfehlung. Viele kennen nur das von Tempsky Bowie, aber das Ned Kelly ist genauso klasse. Nicht nur als Fänger sondern auch als normales Messer zu gebrauchen, da nur einseitig geschliffen. Klinge 7 mm!!

Dommage que les spécifications sur le site soient erronées. Cela dit ça reste un bon couteau, dans la lignée de ce que fait Svord. Très solide, impressionnant et démesuré ... Pour les escapades en foret uniquement !
