SOG was named in honor of a covert US Special Ops unit – MACV-SOG, which fought in Vietnam. Inspired by their unique Bowie combat knife, a young designer called Spencer Frazer founded SOG Knives & Tools in 1986 with a goal to reproduce the original Bowie knife. Today, SOG is a true innovator in the knife industry.
There is a rhythm and cadence to the movement. An Action and Reaction. The Pendulum is not only interesting, it’s functional. As you open the blade the bolster rotates out and then returns. To release our famous Arc-Lock system, simply slide the bolster and unlock the blade. This modern folder has a distinctive look; with 360o notched liners that provide extra grip, reversible pocket clip, modified spear point blade and textured handles.
