A good leuku type knife for cold conditions. Its 21 cm (8.2") carbon steel blade is 3 mm (0.12") thick and chops small branches well while having a low blade angle that makes cutting easy. The large pommel allows you to put plenty of force into swings while making it easy to unsheathe the leuku from its leather sheath, even when wearing the thickest of winter mitts in your hands.
