Knivsmed Stromeng Samekniv 3.5 knife
Knivsmed Strømeng crafts genuine Sámi knives with deep respect for tradition—almost as a calling. The company is based in Karasjok, deep in the inland of Norway’s Finnmark region—true Arctic territory.
The Samekniv 3.5 is essentially a compact leuku-style knife but optimized for all-around use: camp tasks, fishing, or hunting. The 85 mm carbon steel blade is polished, showcasing its clean profile and traditional shape with a refined, understated finish.
The handle is made of oiled birch, accented with brass fittings, and shaped with the characteristic flared pommel. A thick, decorated leather sheath completes the ensemble. Weighing only 80 g, this Unna Niibas puukko knife is lightweight yet functional—a reliable tool and meaningful gift.
