Ahti knives are made in Kauhava, Finland by the knife-maker Reino Kamppila. The blades are made ​​of carbon-vanadium alloy steel. Curly birch handles are oiled with brown colored linseed oil and the brass fittings are polished.

Beautiful fit and finish as with every Ahti I have purchased. I have not used this particular knife yet, but I own and have used the Leuku 14 for a couple years now. Construction stays solid and tight, steel takes a great edge and holds it well. Sheath has held up through multiple hunting, hiking, camping trips. Would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys traditional knives.

Wie von Ahti gewohnt ein sehr gutes Messer, auch für große Hände. Ideal für den Outdooreinsatz. Wer es kann und will bringt es leicht auf Rasiermesserschärfe. Die Verarbeitung ist hervorragend und auf jeden Fall ein Messer welches deutlich weniger kostet als es wert ist.

Нож красивый, но я так и не понял для чего он предназначен. Для охоты и рыбалки он не подходит абсолютно.
