Spartan Blades was founded by Curtis Iovito and Mark Carey after their retirement from US Army Special Forces. The intent of Spartan Blades is to provide modern warrior and outdoorsman with knives that will serve them in a variety of missions and environments. All Spartan knives are manufactured in North Carolina with only US origin materials.

Muy buena navaja: Muy buenos acabados, PVD sobre titanio, arandelas de cobre, buen clip, ... Buen acero CPM S35VN, buen espesor de hoja, supera ligeramente el máximo de las dimensiones de una hoja CQC. Muy buena penetración. Cachas ergonómicas y amplias, muy buenas para su empuñadura. Ligeramente estrechas. Apertura más lenta de lo normal debido a la longitud de la hoja, pero compensable con movimiento seco de muñeca, hasta bloqueo. Buen Bloqueo Frame Lock 50 kg. aprox. (carga rotura a cortante), sin llegar a los Back Lock que superan los 150 kg.

Materiaalit ovat erinomaiset: titaani + MagnaCut. Sopii käteen kuin valettu ja on terävä tehdaskunnossaan. Ainoa valittamisen aihe on liian tiukka kääntömekanismi, mutta tämä korjaantunee käytössä tai viimeistään säätämällä ruuvin kireyttä. Harseyn suunnittelemat Spartanit eivät petä.
