G. Sakai
G.Sakai was established in 1958 under the name”Sakai Hamono” as a Japanese knife manufacture. Sakai Hamono was greatly inspired by Gerber Legendary Blades and succeeded in cooperation with the american company in 1977. After changing the name to G. Sakai, the company has continued expanding the life of the original products under brand name. G.Sakai produces high fixed blade knives, folders and kitchen knives.

Full tang blade is made out of premium VG-10 San Mai (laminated) steel. The simple & subdued blade design presents an air of diginity. Decorative(slip-stop) jimping is made on all through the handle (from choil to the area just before the false edge starts.)
Handle is consisted of a pair of black G-10 scales with curved grooves crossing at right angles. We make use of the state-of-the-art 3D CNC machining to create
these complicated geometric patterns. Finger choil & finger grooves are amply supplied on the bottom of handle to secure the safty grip. You may feel the dignity of long history in the appearance of the SAKURA sittting in the black scabbard.
