Helle Harding Rubin 2026 LTD hunting knife
The Helle Harding Rubin 2026 LTD celebrates 40 years of one of Helle’s most iconic knife designs. Originally created by Erling Opstad, the Harding has become a modern Scandinavian classic, known for its balance of functionality, craftsmanship, and timeless design.
The highlight of this limited edition is its carefully constructed handle. It combines stabilized beech (Kebony), dyed red leather, and rare spalted beech from 1986 – the same year the original Harding was introduced. Spalted wood is naturally shaped by fungal growth, a process that enriches the wood’s structure and creates unique tones and organic, one-of-a-kind patterns. No two handles are exactly alike.
The blade is made from Helle’s triple laminated stainless steel (H3LS), offering a well-balanced combination of sharpness, toughness, and ease of maintenance. The classic drop-point blade shape makes it a versatile tool for outdoor use, woodwork, and game processing.
Red accents in the handle and sheath stitching reference the ruby anniversary, adding a subtle but distinctive character to the knife.
Limited to just 1000 pieces, this edition stands out as both a reliable working knife and a desirable collector’s item.
If you’re looking for a knife that performs in the field and stands out in a collection, the Harding Rubin 2026 LTD is worth securing while available.
