This Russian knife has a very practical design and will definitely be useful on my hikes. For a stainless steel it has good properties. Attention, other knife makers sell the same model (Finka), but with some fancy sounding steel... but the blade is just 2 mm wide... that's how you make a practical design useless. I wanted to buy the version with the curly birch handle, because I heard the layered handles from AIR can smell a little bit funny because of the glue. I can tell you, I smell nothing and the grip is amazing (I can imagine better than just birchwood)
