A&R Zlatoust is a Russian knife manufacturer. It is based in the city of Zlatoust, an industrial city that specialises in metallurgy. It is one of the centers of artistic engraving on metal and is best known in Russia, especially for its work on knives and swords. Today the tradition lives on in the knives produced by A & R Zlatoust, which has a general rule: the quality of the knives must be beyond reproach. They produce knives for hunting and camping.

The knife I received was the last one and a different variation of the Rhys with a Bobcat engraved head on one side and a round pommel as opposed to the one pictured. Normally would return a mistake like this but the knife is excellent and Russia is sanctioned indefinitely.

Simply perfect. Note that it is sharp on both sides of the blade. The only thing on the downside is that the aluminium of the handle is easily stretched but this does not affect the functionality of the knife which is perfectly balanced and apparently made by someone who knows about fighting knives.
