Fantoni HB Fixed hunting knife, orange

I bought this as a true hunting knife to be used for field dressing deer etc. It has now been properly field tested on a nice 9 point white tailed buck. I can say the knife is truly excellent and performs superbly in the field. The knife arrived sharp out of the box and with a little work with a ceramic hone and strop I quickly brought it to "shaving" sharp. The design and ergonomics are perfect for me. Fit and finish is superb. The textured G10 orange handle is fabulous - non slip even when covered in blood, plus this handle is highly visible even in dim light, so easy to find in the field if you put it down. The sheath is well made, though my only slight criticism is that I would prefer the sheath to hold the knife a little more snugly because there is some movement when in the sheath.
