Nowadays, many popular gear brands seem to compete over who has the most complicated, fancy, scientific, and expensive shooter’s belt. As an old-school military equipment manufacturer, we’re not really impressed by that. Instead, we decided to make a solid, sensible, and reasonably priced fighting belt that does exactly what most military users expect from their belt. The special greatness of this belt lies in how “just plain good” it is—in the best possible sense of the word.

The belt’s core is made of three layers of webbing sewn together so that PALS-compatible channels form between the layers for attaching pouches. The middle layer is made from particularly thick and stiff webbing, which gives the belt enough rigidity to firmly support pistol holsters and similar gear.

Note that despite this stiffening layer, this is not a super-rigid competition shooter’s belt—and it’s not meant to be. The construction is solid but somewhat flexible. While this belt is perfectly suitable on its own for carrying a holster, a few magazines, and small pouches, we recommend using proper belt padding and/or harnesses when carrying heavier gear. They make life more comfortable.

The belt is adjusted with a buckle—no hook-and-loop fasteners. The buckle is a 2M FDR SR buckle, a high-quality PA 6 plastic buckle designed specifically for belts. Not a fancy gimmick, but a perfectly serviceable basic buckle. If you wish, you can easily replace the buckle with, for example, an AustriAlpin Cobra or a similar buckle.

The ends of the adjustment straps have pieces of double-sided One-Wrap hook-and-loop fastener for rolling up and tidying the strap tails. If you really hate One-Wrap fasteners, you can tape the strap ends or use elastic strap keepers instead.

PS: The belt comes with about a 40 cm piece of elastic cord used to bundle the belt and attach the product tag. Don’t throw this away—you can craft clever things with it, such as elastic harness attachment loops for this belt!

Sizes and Fit
Each size offers 30 cm of quick adjustment to accommodate different belt pads and thick winter clothing layers. The size measurements assume most users wear at least a thin belt pad, which takes up some of the belt’s length. Please consider how your belt pad and thickest clothing layers affect your waist circumference when selecting your size.

Size S-M: 18 PALS webbing intervals, adjustment range 76–111 cm

Size M-L: 22 PALS webbing intervals, adjustment range 92–127 cm

Size L-XL: 26 PALS webbing intervals, adjustment range 108–142 cm
