Böker Germany

Started from a small hardware factory of the Böker family in Germany in the 17th century, Böker became famous in 1869 when they launched their tree-brand knives developed in cooperation with the well-known cutlery-expert Hermann Heuser. The history of Böker has been affected by eventful times, but two things remained: passion and enthusiasm for extraordinary knives. Böker was one of the first companies to offer ceramic knives as a featured product line.

Description

Titanium, High End! Boker's Bronco becomes the Ti-ght End among fixed-blade knives, embodying what passion stands for: finest materials, iconic design, and exceptional dynamics, created for unforgettable adventures. Together with Philipp Utsch and Jan Gierse from UG-Tools, Boker has developed a special edition of the proven Bronco, which is 17% lighter than the already light production model, thanks to its 3D-printed, selectively laser-melted titanium handle. Despite the lighter weight, it doesn't fall short of the strength of a full tang knife. This seemingly defies the laws of nature through the unique construction of the bushcraft knife and the outstanding properties of the handle material. The Bronco Titanium also features the durable and shock-resistant CPM-3V blade, here in a pronounced drop-point design, which, unlike the sister model, only protrudes about a third into the handle and is then embedded and glued. Thanks to thin wall thicknesses and a hollow body construction, the handle combines an incredibly low weight with unmatched strength, making stability feel effortlessly light. From demanding batoning to rigorous, sometimes unconventional stress tests with forklifts and more—the Boker Bronco Titanium aims for more! Moreover, the velvety feel, ergonomic shape, and pleasant texture of the handle allow for fatigue-free work with a non-slip grip under even the harshest conditions. Due to the characteristic heat conductivity of titanium, the handle quickly attains a comfortable body temperature, even in cold and damp weather, allowing outdoor enthusiasts to focus entirely on what matters most. For lanyard attachment, the lanyard hole is discreetly integrated into the rounded end of the handle with the UG-Tools logo. The outdoor knife is delivered with a high-quality leather sheath and a dangler. Handcrafted in the Boker manufactory in Solingen and Sundern in the Sauerland. Boker Bronco Titanium – uncompromising performance made easy!
