Manun Paja is an actor with a long history in the knife scene, having been founded back in 1986. Working with his hands had always been an appealing thought for the founder of the company, Mauno Keränen, who had managed to absorb teachings from a blacksmith course before starting his own company.
Manun Paja has always cherished the valuable traditions of the Tommi knife and to this day, the forge is known for their Tommi knives.
In the early 2000's, Timo Mäkeläinen sought to work at Manun Paja and learned a lot about the results of the craft, the power of expression and traditions. Towards the 2020's Manun Paja started to operate under Mäkeläinen.
The mode of action has not changed, though. Manun Paja continues its existence in stability and without making compromises when it comes to quality.
