Vaikka Kiinan veitsistä puhuttaessa saattaa joidenkin korvissa soida kolkko kaiku, on 2003 perustettu veitsijätti RealSteel enemmän kuin tosissaan. Tavoitteet yritys on asettanut korkealle: se haluaa markkinajohtajaksi panostamalla laadukkaisiin veitsiin, innovatiivisiin ratkaisuihin ja monipuolisiin kohderyhmiin.

RealSteel ei keksi varsinaisesti pyörää uudelleen, mutta päivittää hyväksi havaittuja menetelmiä ja mekanismeja entistä toimivimmiksi ja turvallisemmiksi. Materiaaleissaan se panostaa laatuun ja suunnittelussa ja koonnissa moderneihin menetelmiin.

RealSteelin valikoimista löytyy jotain jokaiselle. Bushcraft-puukkoja ja muita selviytymisveitsiä erämaiden armoille, EDC-veitsiä keräilijöille ja käyttöön jne.

Jos ymmärrät veitsiterästen päälle, tsekkaa ihmeessä nämä Cruciblen CPM S35VN -pulveriteräksen nimeen vannovat veitset. Edullisuuden ei senkään tarvitse aina tarkoittaa halpoja materiaaleja. VG-10:n väitetään olevan teräs, joka yhdistää hiiltieräksen ja rosterin parhaat puolet. Myös Sandvikin teräksiä näkee usein RealSteelin veitsissä.

Vaikka Kiinan veitsistä puhuttaessa saattaa joidenkin korvissa soida kolkko kaiku, on 2003 perustettu veitsijätti RealSteel enemmän kuin tosissaan. Tavoitteet yritys on asettanut korkealle: se haluaa markkinajohtajaksi panostamalla laadukkaisiin veitsiin, innovatiivisiin ratkaisuihin ja monipuolisiin kohderyhmiin.

RealSteel ei keksi varsinaisesti pyörää uudelleen, mutta päivittää hyväksi havaittuja menetelmiä ja mekanismeja entistä toimivimmiksi ja turvallisemmiksi. Materiaaleissaan se panostaa laatuun ja suunnittelussa ja koonnissa moderneihin menetelmiin.
