In some ways, this is a better knife than the Chris Reeve Backpacker. Definitely, more consistent quality of finish than the Backpacker. Two things that could be improved is the jimping on the top of the blade is too aggressive (or should just be removed) and maybe consider a mounting option other than the UtiliClip. The blade shape is great, the handle is very comfortable and just a beautiful rendition of K-1S (ahem, Poleheim). A very useful all around user knife, if you need something smaller than the South Pole (which is one of the best camping knives in the world).

Unique custom quality light and sturdy fixed blade which can clip to your pocket. Scored 75g on a Bess test with the factory edge. Razor sharp. Superb hunting and bushcraft knife. Very comfortable in hand. Batons wood well beyond its looks. The upper sabre grind pops the wood apart. Holds its edge throughout. Excellent kydex sheath. Perfect fit. Gralloch’s deer very well. You can hold the knife to protect the tip with your forefinger for the abdomen cut. Great point for the back end bowel cut. Works well internally. Tuck the lanyard into the fold over of your latex glove at the wrist. Stops contamination. Edge angle is 17.5 degrees each side from the factory. Perfect balanced edge geometry for sharpness retention and cutting performance. Would highly recommend this knife. My best “all-round” knife in a 200+ collection. Unique toughness/precision design.

Top verarbeitet. Sehr gute Fabriksschärfe. Sehr gute Kydexscheide. Keine Mängel. Liegt gut in der Hand. Lediglich der Sitz des Messers in den Hosentasche ist recht auffällig da es weit heraussteht.
