The only reason why quality and materials were not 5 is that I’m not a fan of the sheath. If I were them I would scrap the sheath and make it out of Kydex. This sheath is so brittle, it dropped of my belt on my floor and broke. This is a bushcraft knife, out in nature, the sheath is gonna take some hits, but it’s as fragile as glass. However, their customer service is second to none. Had a replacement sheath inside a week! Love this company and their knives.

This is my new hiking and camping knife. For the size and weight, it's an awesome carry knife. It came in razor sharp. The price and delivery time was fantastic from this company.

I've had to think about this review for a few days, because I'm so impressed with this RK knife, that I didn't want to appear too over the top about it. Over many years, I've owned many, many knives...from production companies to custom made. Almost all of them are gone now, because my criteria for a good knife has come down to: how well does it cut, and how comfortable is the handle. This RK knife excels at both features; the steel used is excellent, & the edge that can be obtained as a result of the heat treatment is outstanding. The handle is the most comfortable of all the knives I have owned. The knife just floats in the hand, perfectly balanced. It's small and light enough to always be carried when in the woods. I did make a couple of small modifications: 1. The edges on the glass breaker at the pommel are so sharp, they can tear skin, or clothing; so I used a small, fine ceramic stone to carefully soften the edges/corners. I can now run my hand over the pommel without concern. 2. The fit of the knife into the sheath was very tight, so I used a piece of fine crocus cloth to polish the inside circumference of the entrance to the sheath. I then wiped a bit of Armor All on the same area, as well as on the handle of the knife, which acts as a lubricant. It is now much easier to get the knife in and out of the sheath, but the knife is still held securely. I am so impressed with this knife, that I now have two of them! And finally a thanks to Lamnia for their amazing service. From Finland to California in 3 days blows me away. I don't get that kind of delivery service from companies here in the U.S.

Einfach, super messer! Und wenn der Preis reduziert wird, ist das einfach ein idealer Kauf. Es kann für alles verwendet werden. Im Moment benutze ich es hauptsächlich zu Hause. Das Messer ist super praktisch und scharf. Ich empfehle es, besonders wenn es im Angebot ist.

Auf Anhieb mein neues Lieblingsmesser! Der Griff könnte für meine großen Hände etwas mehr Bauch haben aber das Messer liegt auch nach längerem Gebrauch und bei Arbeiten mit hohem Kraftaufwand noch bequem und sicher in der Hand. Das eigentliche Highlight ist die Klinge - die partielle Härtung läßt den hohen Anschliff ohne Sekundärfase zu und der rhombische Querschnitt eine robuste Klingenstärke und das ganze bringt richtig Arbeitsleistung. An Hartholz kann es out-of-the-box mit meinen besten Schnitzmessern locker mithalten und das habe ich vorher so noch nicht erlebt. Das Befestigungskonzept der originalen Scheide ist mäßig, die Scheide selbst hat sich aber in der Praxis schnell bewährt. Insgesamt sehr gut durchdachtes und praxistaugliches Arbeitsmesser.

Très bon couteau. Léger, extrêmement coupant. Manche très ergonomique, confortable et rassurant. Seul bémol : le logo de la marque n'apparaît pas sur la lame ; dommage. L'étui est trop serré, difficile d'en extraire le couteau. J'ai acheté l'étui en kydex qui est plus facile. Dans l'ensemble, très satisfait. J'ai hâte de l'utiliser en plein air... Alain V.

Zeer prettig en heel bruikbaar mes. Solide en toch licht. De schede is wat vreemd en lomp, maar houd het mes wel stevig op zijn plaats zonder gerammel. Ik heb het mes met korting gekocht, maar de normale prijs is aan de hoge kant.
